THIN LIZZY Drummer 'Feeling Better', Will Join The Band On The Road
February 3, 2004THIN LIZZY drummer Michael Lee (ex-PAGE/PLANT, THE CULT, LITTLE ANGELS) is "feeling better" and will join his bandmates on their upcoming tour after all, according to a statement from the group's management, Coallier Entertainment. The band had previously announced their intention to find a temporary replacement while Lee was recovering from an unspecified illness.
"All four guys of THIN LIZZY [Lee, John Sykes - guitar/vocals, Scott Gorham - guitar, and Randy Gregg - bass) will be on tour starting this Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at The Rock in Tucson, AZ," the statement continued. "We are sorry for the delayed start of our tour and any inconvenience this may have caused."
As previously reported, THIN LIZZY will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Wednesday, February 4. THIN LIZZY will kick off a North American tour with DEEP PURPLE on February 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
